AKSA, with more than 300,000 mt p.a. acrylic fiber production capacity at its facility in Yalova, Turkey, is the industry leader with more than 12% market share, and is known around the world for high quality standards in processing, consistency, and excellent customer service. AKSA’s broad product base and reputation are built on 40 years of excellence in R&D and production.
AKSA entered carbon fiber production in 2008 with its pilot facilities and enhanced this in 2009 with its first full scale production facilities including a 1,500 mt p.a. carbon fiber production line. AKSA is in the process of increasing its carbon fiber production capacity to 3,500 mt p.a. by mid-2012. AKSA intends to demonstrate similar excellence and leadership as it has in acrylic fiber with its “AKSACA” family of carbon fiber products.
